Facilitation and Change-Making Workshops

For the past five years I have been offering facilitated workshops and happenings designed to help groups build community, explore difficult questions, imagine new possibilities, and move toward meaningful action. Some examples include:

 

  • Transformation Underground: an educational and hands-on salon series that lifted the veil on the oppressive systems we're a part of and sought inspiration of how we might live differently.

  • Who Do We Want to Be in a Climate-Changed World?: A three-part series that explored building neighborhood, meaning making, and collective visioning in a climate-changed world.

  • Devising Workshops: using theatrical and creative practices to explore challenging subjects and open up new ways of seeing.

  • Custom Workshops: collaboratively designed around whatever feels most alive in your community — from imagination to eco-grief, from radical saints to feelings around AI...

Who Do We Want to Be in a Climate Changed World?

(October 2023)

A three part series that explored building neighborhood, meaning making, and collective visioning in a climate-changed world (York Maine 2023)

York WHERE Walks (October 2024) 

The York History Partners, in collaboration with the Atlantic Black Box, created a meaningful, day-long event around decolonizing York, Maine. 

​

Visionanza! (October 2024)

A festive evening to envision what a beautiful and lovingly- aligned world might look like in the spirit of finding ways to “live the dream” today. ​

​

Radical Tea Party (January 2025)

A community gathering to explore cross-collaborations between local changemakers.

​

Transformation Underground (Winter 2025, Spring and Fall 2026)

A bi-weekly salon focusing on all things radical social and ecological transformation. 

​

Spring Awakenings (April 2025)

A local, moth-style storytelling event around the theme of Transformation & Joyful Resistance.

Viridescence Course (May 2025) 

 A 4-week course rooted in an online community, we cultivated the mystical and justice-seeking vitality of viridescence through transformative spiritual and creative practices, a treasure trove of prophetic readings and materials, and a range of thoughtfully curated assignments and guided conversations.

Justice Together Camp (July 2025+July 2026) 

In collaboration with Pilgrim Lodge: this week-long, justice-themed camp for teens engaged special speakers, workshops, and creative exercises designed to broaden the aperture for and empower the youth around their climate change work and beyond.

 

Manifesting Vision: Practicing the Better World We're Longing For (October 2025) 

In this experimental and spirit-led workshop, we explored the practice of collective actualization; of dipping a toe into the crack of something other than business-as-usual. Together, we harvested visions from the world we are so longing for and played with manifesting the essence of these inspired sparks in real time.

Liberation Mass (February 2026)

Liberation Mass was a mystical and contemplative ritual for the better world to come. Inspired by the liturgy of the Catholic Mass, this iteration of “spooky church” subverted the form to activate sacred space in the name of collective liberation.

Soup & Sing (October 2026)

Rooted in mutual aid and community building, this gathering brings us together for an afternoon of good food, connection, and the power of song.
